Last year slitter projects

The beginning of the year is a great opportunity to summarize the JURMET achievements and present a small sample of completed slitter projects from the last year. The majority of ventures were related to the flexographic industry. We delivered many WINDER2 duplex compact machines for flexographic printing houses in Poland and abroad. Companies whose specificity of orders requires long series contracted AVANCER-turret type slitters. On the other hand, printing houses that plan to expand their machines with a perforating station or a laser in the future, often decided to order MASTER slitters with a separate unwinding station. In addition to the modular design, this model is characterized by higher operating parameters compared to the WINDER2 compact model, in particular: a larger unwinding diameter and speed. JURMET also started cooperation with a global company supplying components for the automotive sector, to which we supplied a slitter for slitting materials used in electric cars.

The beginning of this year is extremely intense. In the first few months, we are going to implement several projects for the paper industry. We have already contracted several paper slitters with a high degree of automation, designed for silicone-coated paper, self-adhesive label paper as a base for labels, and in the following months – for kraft paper.
Moreover, the LANGER3 rewinder, which is used for slitting wrap around labels and shrink-sleeves, is constantly popular. We already have many orders for this model. This high-class rewinder, designed for narrow and mid-webs, owes its success to high efficiency, which is achieved thanks to very accurate tensions combined with a solid and reliable construction. These solutions allow for stable, highly efficient operation at high parameters.
At the same time, this year we are counting on the development of sales in the USA. We are currently at the stage of delivering the first machines to the American market. Therefore, despite the difficulties associated with broken supply chains and the continuing pandemic, we are cautiously optimistic about the coming year.
